Best golf of my life! Special thanks for Mike Sheehan our caddy who made this 10x better than it would have been otherwise. Super fun and helped us out a ton. Beautiful course, serene atmosphere, very cool oversized greens. Couldn’t have had a better time. Also food at this place is better than you’d expect
A wide open but very different experience than the other SS courses. The largest green complexes I have ever come across making it easy to hit greens but strategically approach each hole to give yourself scoring opportunities. Beautiful all around course with pretty good caddies in the barn.
The. Black course is in terrible shape. They are sodding even parts of the greens. The red course is in great shape and fantastic views. The word is out people don’t come back and play the black. All blind drives and most of the holes are blind approaches.
Definitely my favorite of the 3 courses. I liked the layout of the clubhouse and the course design. Ordered Tuna Wontons and they were awesome. All the other food looked great as well. Service was great and the food at the turn was very good. Got the Cuban sandwich and lobster roll. Definitely worth it. I would come back.
The lodge is comfortable and the restaurant and lounge in the lobby are very nice. We had lunch at Fin and Feather and it was delicious. Complimentary valet parking and complimentary coffee in the morning is a nice touch. Shuttles run to the different courses continuously. The wait is usually less than 5 minutes. The room was spacious and the shower was modern and very appealing.
