DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE! Let me repeat that - DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE! OMG there are not enough disturbing adjectives to describe the bad conditions at this course. I booked the round on a whim since l was in the area. The pictures do NOT do it justice. The tee boxes are atrocious. The fairways are 50-75% dirt. The bunkers have weeds growing in them. And the greens… OMG! They resemble dry and cracked lakebeds. What a shame. And there are cart paths that you don’t know if you should drive down it to the next hole. The layout is amazing. I would love to have played it when it was in good shape. Oh, and then there’s the fact it’s in the middle of nowhere. And the cart was old, and sputtering the last 4-5 holes.
It's a large green space,very quiet good golf resort. However,it's long past its glory days. They do take good care of the grounds and there is shade everywhere and the peacefulness is not for everyone. It's very quiet ! Did I tell you how quiet it is here ? LOL we have been here since Dec 31 and are leaving March 31. We are comfortable here in our 1 bedroom,1 bath condo unit. They need to spend some money on the pool area to clean up the deck but the water is fine and usually 82-84F and the Jacuzzi is next to the pool and us set at approx 100-104F max. Very soothing and a very relaxed place. Enjoy
I live here in the winter and must tell you that under current ownership, this place is lost... It’s beautiful and quiet... but unsustainable under current ownership.
Super affordable golf course. I am terrible at golf and I fit right in because I didnt have to worry about being judged by the good players. I did have to wear a collared shirt for some reason, but otherwise the course and staff are very accommodating.
I just signed my renewal lease for my next year that will be 2024. I'm so happy and so grateful of be part of Grenelefe community also, It's been a total blessing. The green areas are incredibly beautiful, you literally feels like you are in the middle of a forest. When you are here you feel that you are disconnected from the outside world, it's how peaceful this place really is. My apartment is a one bedroom and is huge. What you see in Google is real. The administrator office people are so special. They treat you like family not as customer
