DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE! Let me repeat that - DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE! OMG there are not enough disturbing adjectives to describe the bad conditions at this course. I booked the round on a whim since l was in the area. The pictures do NOT do it justice. The tee boxes are atrocious. The fairways are 50-75% dirt. The bunkers have weeds growing in them. And the greens… OMG! They resemble dry and cracked lakebeds. What a shame. And there are cart paths that you don’t know if you should drive down it to the next hole. The layout is amazing. I would love to have played it when it was in good shape. Oh, and then there’s the fact it’s in the middle of nowhere. And the cart was old, and sputtering the last 4-5 holes.
Terrible tee boxes, terrible greens, terrible fairways, terrible traps. Cups haven't been moved in weeks. Worst course I've played in 30 years. Which is too bad cause its a cool layout. Nice and friendly pro shop worker though. Picture attached is a typical green on the course.
The course would have got a 1 star just for being a course, the greens were horrible, actually horrible is being nice. The course layout is great. but the condition of greens and tee boxes garbage, all that water and looks like none get on the green. The lady in the bar/ lounge, super nice. What a shame that course has so much potential. BUT TO CHARGE $40 WAS THE REAL CRIME, should have been maybe $20
man. Haven't played the course, however we are looking to move to this resort. While we were checking it out, one of the places we looked at was on the fairway of one of the holes. From what I observed the course reminded me of growing up playing the municipal courses, which were never quite as nice as the country clubs. Regardless if we move there I will certainly play this and the other course as well.
